Today is National Hamburger Day! Nothing is more American than a huge,
succulent ground sirloin sandwich. Ground sirloin sandwiches and
cheeseburgers have been a staple of the American diet for a considerable
length of time. In 2001, in excess of 8.2 billion burgers were served
in business restaurants in the United States. This number doesn't even
consider the amount of burgers individuals consume at home, which is an
alternate 15 billion!
Although cheeseburgers started in Hamburg, Germany, consuming the
burger in a bun is really an American advancement. The cheeseburger
sandwich was doubtlessly concocted in Seymour, Wisconsin. Every year the
city has a cheeseburger celebration called Burger Fest. That is the
place the world's biggest cheeseburger made its introduction in 2001. It
weighed 8,266 pounds!
To praise National Hamburger Day, have a lawn grill with your
companions and flame broil up some delectable burgers. Keep in mind
about all the delectable ways you can tweak your burger — include bacon,
ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo, and your other most loved fixing.
